Mission and Outreach

Serving others is a big part of who we are at IUCC.

We believe that we are all part of God’s family, and that our blessings are to be shared with others.

Our members can often be found volunteering at the Hanover Township Food Pantry, or working to stock its shelves.

Maybe you’ve seen the red bags we use for our annual summer food drive on a doorstep near you.

We support our local children with after-school activities and crafts year-round, and have been recognized by Hanover Township for our dedication to its holiday programs.

On the Tuesday before Easter, you will see the Northern Illinois Food Bank's truck in our parking lot as we serve our neighbors in need.

But our concern is not just local.

Mission and Outreach teams have traveled as far as Back Bay Mission in Biloxi, Mississippi, to be God’s hands and feet in action, and we are looking forward to more trips in the future.

If you have a heart for service, you’re sure to find a place at IUCC.
